About

Darion
Cormier

A writer exploring attention, responsibility, memory, belonging, and the quiet ways ordinary life shapes us.

His work lives somewhere between essay, reflection, and spoken storytelling.

This is not a system for fixing your life.

It is an attempt to notice the life already happening.

The Writing

Writing for the quiet parts of being human.

I am interested in the moments that are easy to move past. The few minutes in the driveway before going inside. The responsibility we carry long enough to stop recognizing it as weight. The rooms in ourselves we quietly learn to walk around.

Those moments rarely announce themselves as important. Most of the time, they simply become part of an ordinary day. I write because sometimes staying with them a little longer reveals something we had not yet found words for.

The work is not an instruction for how to live. It is an invitation to notice what may already be there.

Sometimes nothing about our lives changes. We simply begin to notice what has been there all along.
